Whether you are a newlywed, an oldly-wed, or an in-between-wed, the 12-week course, Build a Better Marriage, can give insight and enhancement to your marriage relationship. Using the Biblically-based book Marriage on the Rock, as the course foundation, participants will be guided through the maze of acquiring a better understanding of what makes the opposite sex tick, and the Biblical principles that guide them. Along the way, extremely practical applications will be given regarding maturity in communication, finances, managing the household, sexuality, and attaining a lasting peace and fulfillment in the home. Special emphasis will be placed on how to attain and maintain a Spirit-controlled temperament in study and practical application of Galatians 5 (i.e. walking in the Spirit, so as to manifest the fruit of the Spirit).
The course is designed to help couples take an “okay” marriage and make it good, and to take a “good” marriage and make it GREAT! While the course is best for couples, an unaccompanied husband or wife is also welcome in the class.
This course meets for a spring session and a fall session.
Currently in session.
